We Are All The Changemakers Of Tomorrow
Ryerson University, Toronto
"No other investment yields as great a return as the investment in education. An educated workforce is the foundation of every community and the future of every economy.."
- Margaret J. Wheatley
Hey FCS, did you know we are the second largest faculty at Ryerson University with over 8,200+ undergraduate students?
A student society provides the essential services other faculty's are receiving such as peer tutoring, networking, wellness supports, recreational events, pub nights, formals, volunteering, funding for clubs, startups, plus innovation, just to name a few. We are sitting here without all these great opportunities and things, yet we are the essential workers of tomorrow?
Lets show all the other faculties what real essential services look like with the knowledge we collectively learn in our classes to put into practice for tomorrow.
Toronto is in the ‘Dish With One Spoon Territory’. The Dish With One Spoon is a treaty between the Anishinaabe, Mississaugas and Haudenosaunee that bound them to share the territory and protect the land. Subsequent Indigenous Nations and peoples, Europeans and all newcomers have been invited into this treaty in the spirit of peace, friendship and respect.
