First Year Resources

FCS Student Connect

The FCS Student Connect is where you can find all the supports you may use throughout your years at Ryerson. You will also be introduced to our Dean and other members of faculty. There are some helpful videos that can benefit your jitters attending in Ryerson's second largest faculty.

Here you can find peers in your year, find out more about our upcoming O-Week, events we will be hosting throughout the year. We can't wait to meet you all, and answer any additional questions you may have leading up to the start of your first year at Ryersonl!

Tri-Mentoring Program (TMP)

The TMP on campus provides incoming students with a mentor usually in your program who can guide you on your first year experience at Ryerson. Your mentor is also there to ask any questions you may have on resources and opportunities happening on campus.

FCS Student Groups

Currently FCS unlike all other faculties does not have a sustainable umbrella organization where students pay a levy into it. This means its almost impossible to form a new student group or interest group in FCS. The Ryerson Community Services Society-RCSS was created by the faculty to ensure our undergraduate community forms in FCS by 2022.
