FCS Lecture Series

What is Lecture Series?

Lecture Series is the annual undergraduate conference for undergraduate Faculty of Community Services students.  The Lecture Series revolves around our ever changing Community Services fields. Learn, Network, and Grow from professionals in the fields plus sectors you are going into! FCS students in attendance will receive a FCS certificate for attending, and a shot to win one of the many prizes the FCSS is giving away!



Research + Technologies Panel:​
  1. Learn about new urban health + health sciences technologies being created to help the Community Services sectors. 

  2. Learn about new research being done in the Health Sciences and Community Services sectors.

Transforming Racialized Leadership Panel:​
  1. Learn from racialized change makers their coming of age stories on engaging communities within the different Community Services and Health Science fields.

  2. Learn different tips of how to be become a stronger change maker.

Experiential Learning in Field Placements Panel:
  1. Learn about the experiential learning that is placements from upper year student leaders within the Faculty of Community Services

  2. Hear about their experiences with co-op and placements.
